You can show your gift option labels in every language published in your Shopify admin. Your labels are machine translated into each language, and you can add your own translation to any label.
Where to find it
In Wrapped, open Gifting for Products or Gifting for Orders.
Find the Languages card. Every published language is listed, and your default language is marked Default.
Press a language to open its labels. On a language page, press Select language to move to another language.

The default language
The default language page holds your labels. Edit a label and press Save. Your other languages update to match, usually within 1–2 minutes.

Labels are grouped: Gift option, Buttons, Gift message, Gift sender, Gift receiver, Notices, and Validation. A label left blank in the default language is blank in every language where you haven’t added your own translation.
Use machine translations
Every other language has a Use machine translations switch at the top of its page. While it is on, each label shows its translation beside the default language label.

A machine translation has an icon at the end of its field. Hold your pointer over the icon to see when the label was translated.

Add your own translation
Type over any label and press Save. Customers shopping in that language read your translation, and it stays when the default language label changes. The machine translation icon does not appear on fields with your own translation.
To go back to the machine translation, clear the field and press Save.
Turn machine translations off
Turn Use machine translations off to show only the translations you wrote, and then press Save. Fields without your own translation are empty, and customers read those labels in your default language.

Turn the switch back on at any time. The machine translations return, and your own translations are kept.
💡 The switch is per language. You can keep machine translations for one language and turn them off for another.

Important notes
Languages are added and published in your Shopify admin under Settings, and then Languages. Only published languages appear in Wrapped.
Gifting for Products and Gifting for Orders each have their own Languages card and their own labels.
Some languages can’t be machine translated. Their page has no switch, and labels show in your default language until you add your own translation.
