Hide gift blocks where the gift product is not sold

Turn on the Unavailable markets setting so customers in markets where the gift product is not sold see no gift blocks, instead of a disabled one.

When Shopify doesn't sell your gift product in a customer's market, the gift block shows disabled with the message “Gifting not available in your region”. You can turn on the Hide when the gift product is unavailable in the customer's market setting on the Gift block visibility card so those customers see no gift blocks on your product pages, cart drawer, cart page or checkout.

This applies only when a gift product is connected to the gift option.

Turn it on

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Wrapped, and then open the gift option you want to change.

  2. Scroll to the Gift block visibility card.

  3. Under Also hidden for, in the Unavailable markets row, turn on Hide when the gift product is unavailable in the customer's market.

  4. Press Save.

The setting applies to one gift option. Turn it on in each gift option you use.

Change the message

To change the text customers see on the disabled gift block, open the Gifting editor, press Text, and then edit Region unavailable message in the Notices group.

Sell the gift product in that market instead

From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Markets, open the market, and then include the gift product in its catalog. Learn more about Shopify Markets.
