Selling gift boxes or hampers? One box only fits so much. Wrapped can charge one gift box for every set number of items, or every set amount of weight, in an order. The quantity is calculated automatically, so a big order is charged for two or three boxes without the shopper doing anything.
These modes are available for Gifting for Orders.
Step 1: pick a pricing mode
In Wrapped, open your Gifting for Orders settings.
In the connected gift product section, find Customer pricing and quantity mode.
Choose Item limited (per gift box) to charge by item count, or Weight limited (per gift box) to charge by weight.
Step 2: set the limit for each gift box variant
Press the gear icon beside the mode selector to open Set the limit for each gift box variant.
Enter how much one box holds. For item mode, that is Items per box. For weight mode, that is Weight per box with your choice of unit (kg, g, lb, or oz).
Press Save. The limits save straight to your gift product variants in Shopify.
Defaults. If a variant has no limit set, Wrapped uses 2 items per box in item mode and 3 kg per box in weight mode.

Weight mode reads your product weights. Products without a weight are not counted. Set product weights in the Shopify products admin. Products can use different weight units; Wrapped converts them automatically.

How the charge is calculated
Wrapped divides the order by the limit and rounds up. An order always gets at least one box.
Item mode: with a limit of 2, an order with 5 items is charged for 3 gift boxes.
Weight mode: with a limit of 7 kg, a 15 kg order is charged for 3 gift boxes.
Each gift box variant can have a different limit and a different price. The shopper picks the box, and Wrapped uses that variant's limit.
