If you sell to both retail shoppers and business customers, you may not want gift options offered to your B2B buyers. B2B accounts often have their own catalogs, negotiated pricing, and fulfillment workflows that don't suit gifting.
Wrapped can hide gift blocks from B2B customers automatically, everywhere they appear — product pages, the cart page, the cart drawer, and checkout. Retail customers are unaffected and continue to see gift options as normal.
Turn on B2B hiding
In Wrapped, open the gift option you want to change and find the B2B customer visibility card in the side panel. Turn on Hide gift blocks from B2B customers and save.
B2B customer visibility card with the toggle enabled
Leave the toggle off to show gift options to every customer, including your B2B buyers. This is the default.
B2B customer visibility card with the toggle disabled
This setting is per gift option. If you use both Gifting for Orders and Gifting for Products, turn it on in each one.
Who counts as a B2B customer
Wrapped uses Shopify's own B2B customer information. A shopper is treated as B2B when they are signed in to a customer account that belongs to a company.
Because this relies on the customer being signed in, a business buyer browsing your store as a guest will still see gift options. They are recognized as B2B once they sign in to their account.
This setting has no effect on stores that don't use Shopify B2B.
What your customers see
Signed-in B2B customers see no gift options at all. The gift checkbox, message fields, and gift product options are removed from your product pages, cart, and checkout.
Retail customers, and B2B customers who are not signed in, see gift options as normal.
Existing orders, and any gift details already saved to a cart, are not changed by this setting.
